How to merge PDF files
- Drop your PDF files into the box above, or tap choose files. You can add more at any time.
- Put the files in order with the ↑ and ↓ buttons, or drag them on a computer.
- Press Merge PDF and then Download. The new file is called merged.pdf.
The files are combined page by page, exactly as they are: text stays selectable, links and image quality are kept. Merging happens in your browser, so even large documents never travel over the internet.
Password-protected PDFs can’t be merged until the password is removed.
Questions and answers
Is there a limit on the number or size of files?
There is no fixed limit. The only limit is your device’s memory: a modern computer handles hundreds of pages easily, a phone a little less.
Will the quality of my PDF change?
No. Pages are copied without being recompressed, so text, images and fonts stay exactly as they were.
Can I merge PDFs on my phone?
Yes. The tool works in the browser on Android and iPhone. Use the arrow buttons to change the order.
Why does a file show an error?
Usually the PDF is password-protected or damaged. Open it in a PDF viewer to check it, remove the password, and try again.
